Trying out // Tresemme Renewal hair and scalp

I love a good beauty or hair sample ( who doesn't right?) because how are you supposed to know if you like/love something or if you hate it.
I had some Tresemme Renewal shampoo and conditioner samples lying about so i thought i'd try them out and share with you what i thought about them.

I just want to say im sure Tresemme have changed their ingredients because when i was in my teenage years (which seems ages ago now) i loved using the stuff. After trying out this sample though recently, ive found i really don't like it any more. Whether my hair just doesn't like the ingredients any more or not i don't know.

My hair just didnt feel clean after it had been washed with the Tresemme Renewal duo, the conditioner had made my hair completely limp, lifeless and flat, it was horrible! I hate having flat hair!!
I normally wash my hair every other day, so when i came to do my hair the morning after i had washed it it was already starting to look greasy. Eww! Gross right?
I know my hair does get greasy quick which is why i wash it so much, but it is never greasy the day after it has been washed.

Thank god for dry shampoo i say, i dont have time to wash my hair in the morning because i have to be up at half 5 for work and would much rather sleep. So on this particular morning i was saved by my trusted batiste dry shampoo. This stuff was a life saver!! It got rid of my greasy hair and gave my hair life and volume again.

What do you think about Treseme shampoo? Do you like it?
Have you been saved by dry shampoo?
Has a product saved your life before?

Review: John Frieda miraculous recovery deep conditioner

I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend. I have spent mine playing bingo with Kris on Friday night, unfortunately we didnt win a thing :( Then Saturday and Sunday morning i have spent with my mum just hanging out and watching films. What have you been up to?

You all know by now that i dye my hair and because i had to bleach it to get it purple it became damaged. So i picked up this John Frieda deep conditioner from superdrug to try out.
When i bought  it it was on offer for a third of the price. I think it normally sells for about 5 pound and is totally worth it. I've only used it a couple of times and it has already started to work wonders on my hair. It is amazing stuff! This conditioning mask helps to nourish your hair without leaving it greasy or limp, like most masks do to my hair. It smells really good too.
If your hair is dry or damaged i would highly recommend you go out and try this stuff, its amazing!!!
Have you tried any conditioning masks that don't leave your hair limp and lifeless, let me know so i can try them out.

Lunch date at Bridgemere

I had a lovely afternoon yesterday with Sam. I thought for today's post i would share with you what we did.
Sam wanted to go to Bridgemere garden centre to buy some new fish for her fish tank. So after i finished work she came and picked me up and off we drove. We made a stop on the way to get her nails done as she was desperate! We think her nail technician had a 'thing' for her. hahahaha.

When we arrived it was about 1 o'clock and we hadn't had dinner yet so decided to grab some there.
Sam and me both chose the home-made tomato and red pepper soup with ciabatta. Omg that stuff was amazing!! The best soup i have ever had. If your ever in the area i would definitely recommend you give it a try.

On the way to go and choose some fish we came across Whsmith, so we had a nosey and  i ended up buying a book on tasty treats ( i cant wait to try some)
We carried on walking and found the fish section. Whilst we were picking out fish i became to realise that i am 'slightly' scared of them. hahahah.( I bet your thinking what a weirdo right)
Sam finally chose her fish which consisted of two silver back sharks, an albino rainbow shark, a polka dot loach, 5 cherry barbs and 5 penguin tetra's. Sam gave me the honour of naming them all.

After buying the fish we quickly jumped into the car and left Bridgemere because Zak (Sam's son) had his swimming lesson. We made it just in time for his lesson and he even went in the deep end in the big pool! How amazing is that? A 6 year old swimming in the deep end. I think i can honestly say he can swim a lot better than me. Whilst Zak was swimming me and Sam had a lovely natter and before we knew it his lesson was over. Then it was time for me to head home.

Where do you go out for lunch? If you live in or near Cheshire let me know in the comments, i want to try out lots of different places.
